Nepal is home to 848 species of birds of which around 8% of the world’s species are found here. So the country is considered a paradise for bird lovers and ornithologists. Among them, almost 500 species are found around the Kathmandu valley.
Kathmandu, the capital city of the mountain country, nestles in a large valley surrounded on all sides by a lush network of green hills and dense forests. These forests and hills provide a safe habitat for various species of birds. Pokhara the city of lakes is yet another spot where you can witness various species of native and migratory birds. The southern plains of Terai on the heart of Chitwan National Park are also a paradise for various species of birds.
Quest for Bird watching tour starts from the valley of Kathmandu. Here hike to the highest hill of the valley. Traversing across the dense woodland witness various species of birds around. Next, the quest takes you to the northern outskirts of the valley to Shivapuri National Park. There also witness various species of biodiversity in the region. Next head towards Pokhara and explore the banks of the Phewa Lake. Hiking across the lush canopy and dense forests witnessing several species of birds. At last, the quest takes you to the southern flatlands of the country to Chitwan National Park. At the park participate in various activities and embark on a journey to the heart of the forest and witness species of residential and migratory birds.

Travel Insurance:
All clients participating in any activity must have travel insurance. Personal injury, death, hospital expenditures, repatriation fees, helicopter rescue. Any other disease covered by the insurance plan will be given. We highly advise you to acquire a comprehensive insurance plan from a trustworthy insurance company.
Passport and Visa:
Every client must have a valid passport from the return date with a 6 months prior validity by the Nepalese consulate in your country or immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Accommodation:
You will be accommodated in 3-star hotels in Kathmandu. In Pokhara, you will be staying at Splendid View Pokhara Hotel. In Chitwan, you will be accommodated in 3-star hotels.

Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, natural disasters, and such, can contribute to changes in the itinerary when traveling in remote mountainous regions.
