An enigma of various cultures and traditions, the region is scattered with ancient temples and monasteries, bustling bazaars, and narrow alleyways. Having a rich history, the oldest architectural evidence found in the valley is from the 1st Century B.C.E. beside the ancient attractions the capital of the country has leaned towards modernization. So here you will be finding basic to grandeur amenities.

Explore Kathmandu valley tour starts with a guided tour to various ancient landmarks around the valley. Exploring the bustling bazaars visit Kathmandu Durbar Square the epicenter of culture and tradition. Next visit one of the most sacred and oldest pilgrimage sites in the country the Swayambhunath Stupa. Also, visit what is called the head of the Shiva the Pashupatinath temple. Later visit Patan Durbar Square.

The following day head towards the renowned hill station of Nagarkot and witness grand views of the valley and the greater Himalayan range. Then proceed towards Changunarayan considered to be one the oldest temple in the country. Next, explore the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and visit various temples and bazaars around.

Travel Insurance:

All clients participating in any activity must have travel insurance. Personal injury, death, hospital expenditures, repatriation fees, helicopter rescue. Any other disease covered by the insurance plan will be given. We highly advise you to acquire a comprehensive insurance plan from a trustworthy insurance company.

Passport and Visa:

Every client must have a valid passport from the return date with a 6 months prior validity by the Nepalese consulate in your country or immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Accommodation: 

You will be accommodated in the Alpine Hotel and Apartment or similar hotels in Kathmandu.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us at the Alpine Club of Himalaya. We have the absolute authority to cancel the trip or change the itinerary, when deemed necessary or when we have reason to believe your safety is at stake. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, natural disasters, and such, can contribute to changes in the itinerary when traveling in remote mountainous regions. In these extreme situations, we kindly request that you offer your full co-operation to the trusted leader of the group appointed by the Alpine Club of Himalaya. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to keep to the above itinerary.

Itinerary

Once you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative from The Alpine Club of Himalaya. Once you are done checking in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city.

Today start early and visit various historical and cultural landmarks of the valley. After breakfast head towards Swayambhunath Stupa perched on a hill in the western part of the Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is one of the most sacred and oldest pilgrimage sites in the country. Learning about the rich history, legends and culture explore the Stupa complex. Also, witness grand panoramic views of the valley and the majestic views of the greater Himalayan range.
Next head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. The epicenter of the culture and tradition of the valley. Exploring the narrow alleys and visiting various temples head around Durbar Square. Then proceed towards Patan Durbar Square. Here visit various attractions around learning about the traditions and culture of the region. Eventually after the tour head towards your accommodation.

Our staff will drop you off at the airport, bid farewell to your newfound friends as well as
Nepal.
