Alpine Club of Himalaya respects your privacy. We do our utmost to ensure the privacy and security of the information you provide us is protected. We do not rent or sell any personal details provided by you during booking. We also do not buy or rent information from any third parties. You only receive information from Alpine Club of Himalaya if (i) you have asked to hear from us, (ii) you have agreed to join our mailing list, or (iii) a friend has requested it on your behalf.

At any time you may request to be removed from any or all of our databases and receive no more information from us.

Impact on the natural environment and resources.

We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts to our customers and staff when out in the wilderness. We always stay in solar powered lodges when possible, discourage showers, and only use gas or kerosine when camping. We ensure we use boiled water for drinking, and never use bottled mineral water. We also suggest putting on an extra layer of clothing rather than another log on the fire! We avoid shortcuts through hillsides and fields to prevent erosion and we are extremely conscious of disposing waste produced by our groups in an ecologically friendly way.

What personally identifiable information is collected by Alpine Club of Himalaya?

Visitors may supply personally identifiable information such as name, address, email address, or telephone numbers for various purposes on this site, or directly to our offices and tour agents. These purposes include registering to receive e-mail newsletters, requesting further information about our trips, making a booking or simply asking a question about Alpine Club of Himalaya. You can visit our site anonymously without providing us personal details, and such, Alpine Club of Himalaya does not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us.
