Nepal to waive off quarantine rules for tourist Foreign tourists will be allowed to enter Nepal from October 17 with a negative COVID-19 result. This was decided by the Nepali Government after meeting with ministers from various ministries as well as with the Prime Minister. According to government officials, foreign tourists will have to submit a PCR negative result for the last 72 hours before visiting Nepal. The Nepali Government also waived off the COVID-19 insurance of tourists. However, in the case of any illness, they have to bear the cost of treatment themselves. Visas will also be issued to tourists upon their arrivals at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
