Visa-free entry to China is now available for citizens of select countries for up to 30 days. This initiative allows travelers to obtain permits and visas quickly and easily upon arrival in Kathmandu, enabling them to embark on their Kailash journey without long waiting periods. The visa-free system is valid from November 30, 2024, until December 31, 2025. Citizens from countries not included in the list below should anticipate a processing time of 4 to 5 days for their permits and visas upon arrival in Kathmandu.
