The Women’s Healing Tour in Nepal is a 7-day journey designed to combine Himalayan adventure, spiritual wellness, cultural discovery, and peaceful moments in nature. The tour takes you from the historic streets and spiritual sites of Kathmandu to the lakeside beauty of Pokhara and the Himalayan viewpoints of the Annapurna region.
The journey includes yoga, cultural experiences, a short Himalayan trek to Ghorepani, the famous sunrise at Poon Hill, a visit to a Tibetan settlement, and relaxing boating on Phewa Lake. It is designed for women who want to experience Nepal at a comfortable pace while connecting with its culture, landscapes, and spiritual atmosphere.
This tour combines several sides of Nepal in a single 7-day experience. Instead of focusing only on trekking or sightseeing, it brings together wellness, culture, nature, and Himalayan adventure. The journey includes a short trek through the rhododendron forests of the Annapurna region, an early-morning sunrise hike to Poon Hill, a yoga retreat session, visits to important Buddhist and Hindu heritage sites, and relaxing time beside Phewa Lake.
The itinerary is also designed with women travelers in mind, including an experienced female trekking guide during the trekking section. This provides a comfortable and supportive experience while allowing travelers to explore Nepal's mountains and cultural heritage.
Kathmandu offers some of Nepal's most important cultural and spiritual experiences. During the tour, you will visit Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, where you can enjoy views across the Kathmandu Valley while exploring one of Nepal's oldest Buddhist sites. You will also visit Boudhanath Stupa, an important center of Tibetan Buddhism, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can see traditional Newari architecture and learn about the city's royal history and living cultural traditions.
In Pokhara, the visit to a Tibetan settlement provides another cultural perspective. You can observe Buddhist practices, visit a monastery, see traditional carpet weaving, and explore locally made handicrafts. You can also enjoy traditional Tibetan dishes such as momos, thukpa, and butter tea.
Nepal is a welcoming destination for women travelers, and this tour is designed to provide a comfortable and organized experience from arrival to departure. Airport transfers, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, and trekking arrangements are organized as part of the itinerary. During the trekking section, travelers are accompanied by an experienced English-speaking female trekking guide and porter. Having a dedicated guide also makes it easier to navigate the mountain trails, communicate with local communities, and manage the practical aspects of the trek.
As with any destination, travelers should take normal precautions, keep valuables secure, follow local guidance, and remain aware of their surroundings, particularly in busy tourist areas.
The tour combines city sightseeing with a short Himalayan trek, so travelers should be prepared for some walking and changes in altitude. The highest point of the trip is Poon Hill at 3,210 meters, which is reached during an early-morning hike from Ghorepani. The trekking section is relatively short, but the early start and uphill walking require a reasonable level of fitness. Staying hydrated, eating regularly, walking at a comfortable pace, and listening to your body are important during the journey.
The tour also includes an hour-long yoga retreat course in Kathmandu, providing an opportunity to relax and prepare for the journey. Travelers with existing medical conditions or concerns about altitude should consult a healthcare professional before traveling.
Nepal has a diverse cultural and religious heritage, and respectful clothing and behavior are appreciated, particularly when visiting temples, monasteries, stupas, and traditional communities. Women travelers are encouraged to wear clothing that covers the shoulders and knees when visiting religious and cultural sites. Removing shoes before entering certain temples and monasteries may be required.
When visiting monasteries or observing religious ceremonies, avoid disturbing prayers or taking photographs where photography is restricted. Asking permission before photographing local people is also a respectful practice.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. After settling in, you will meet your guide and attend a trek briefing covering the itinerary, permits, equipment, and preparation for the trekking section. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with a traditional cultural show.
