The ride starts from Thamel a touristic hub of Nepal. Following the narrow streets surrounded by concrete jungles head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kathmandu Durbar Square has always been the epicenter of the culture and tradition of the valley. Here visit various ancient temples and places. Next head towards the Hanumandhoka Museum located in durbar square, here learns about the rich history of the country.
Also visit the Kumari Ghar, home of the living goddesses of Nepal. Next flowing the bustling streets head towards Ason, the busiest bazaar in the city. The bazaar is also one of the two legendary India-Tibet trade routes that pass through Kathmandu. As you enter Ason the air feels different with the smell of spices and an array of colors. Exploring the narrow streets learn about the lifestyle of the people.

Rickshaw Tour Information:
The Rickshaw Tour starts at 9 a.m. A rickshaw will pick you up from the Alpine Club of Himalaya or any accommodation you are staying in Kathmandu. Exploring the narrow streets and visiting various landmarks head on the ride. Upon reaching Kathmandu Durbar Square explore the area and visit the museum and Kumari Ghar. Next, head towards Ason and witness the bustling old market. After the tour completes, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Detail Itineraries
Departure Time: 9 am Departure Place: Alpine Club of Himalaya (Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal) After we have our breakfast, we will head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square was the old royal palace of the former King of Kathmandu. Also known as the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, the area consists of various ancient temples showcasing Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The surrounding quadrangles reveal networks of courtyards and several Nepalese, Shikara, and mix style temples. The temples are carved on wood showcasing mythical creatures and erotic carvings. The various temple dedicated to different deities dates back from the 12th to 18th centuries. Explore the area and also visit the old palace which now is a museum. After the completion of the tour we will return back to the hotel.
