Overview

Champa Devi Hiking takes you to the third highest hill around Kathmandu valley, nestled at an elevation of 2278 meters. The hike is one of the best places to witness the grand panoramic views of the Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur districts. On the backdrops of  Ganesh, Langtang, and Gauri Shankar ranges.

The hiking trail is easy and takes you through the dense forest covered with varieties of plants and flowers on a 6 hours track. Offers majestic views of Bagmati River, Bungamati, Khokana, and Pharping villages. Traversing on well-maintained trails to off-road trails reach the summit. Upon reaching the top explore the Champadevi Temple. One of the most important Hindu shrines of the valley. Witness grand views and soak in the healing energy of the region.

Hiking Information:

The hike starts from Hattiban towards Champa Devi Temple and via Bhasmasur ends at the
Chandragiri Temple.

We have the absolute authority to cancel the trip or change the itinerary, when deemed necessary or when we have reason to believe your safety is at stake. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, natural disasters, and such, can contribute to changes in the itinerary when traveling in remote mountainous regions. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to keep to the above itinerary.

Detail Itineraries

The Hiking starts at 8 a.m. Private transportation will pick you up from the Alpine Club of Himalaya or any accommodation you are staying in Kathmandu. A short drive and eventually you will start your hike. After the hike is completed, you will be dropped at your accommodation. Pickup places 1. Alpine Club of Himalaya 2. Any hotel In Thamel
