Bhote Koshi Rafting is one of the best short white water rafting trips in the world. Regarded as one of the steepest rivers and hardest commercial rafting rivers in Nepal, this adrenaline rush adventure is a unique experience. The Bhote Koshi river’s source is in the Shishapangma a region in Tibet and enters Nepal from the Kodari Bhanjang region. Poring at a massive speed this river has various levels of rapids, making it ideal for beginners and experts.
The Bhote Koshi Rafting starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the eastern region of the country. After about 95 kilometers drive along the Arniko Highway and you will reach Lomosangu. Lomosangu Dam is the starting point of this thrilling adventure. After a brief orientation, the adventure starts. Rafting the 17 kilometers of river section with extreme rapids covered with lush canopy the adventure ends at Sukute beach. From where you will proceed towards Kathmandu.
Head out from Kathmandu at 6 am. After a 4 hours drive, you will reach Lomosangu. Along the drive witness grand views of the central hills of the country and the mighty ranges of the Ganesh and Langtang. Upon reaching Lomosangu after a briefing head on the adrenaline-filled rafting experience. Following the exciting rapids, and calm pool section with unparalleled scenery experience the adventure. After around three hours of rafting with a couple of stops, you will eventually reach Sukute beach. Upon reaching Sukute the adventure ends. From here head back towards Kathmandu.
Bhotekoshi Rafting, Our journey starts with a drive of about 95 kilometers to the east of Kathmandu. We take a scenic drive along the lush environment admiring the scenic views of villages, fields, and mountains like Ganesh and Langtang Himal. Lomosangu Dam is the starting point of our rafting experience. As we reach there, we raft for about 17 kilometers paddling through the stretches of the river. We end our rafting journey at Sukute beach from where we take a drive back to Kathmandu. (Lunch Included).
