Join Alpine Club of Himalaya trekking expedition to the Tukuche peak in western Nepal between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges. Although relatively less explored, Tukuche is one of most exotic mountain climbs in Nepal. Additionally, there will be an assistant leader for every four trekkers, guaranteeing personalized attention and support throughout the journey.

Luggage Carried with Care:

To ensure a comfortable and hassle-free experience, Sherpa porters will be available to carry your luggage. The Alpine Club of Himalaya carefully maintains a porter-to-trekker ratio of 1:2, enabling you to trek without the burden of heavy bags. Moreover, the team equips itself with other capable helpers as per the specific requirements of the climbing section, ensuring they take care of all aspects of the expedition.

Flexibility and Safety Assurance:

The beauty of this expedition lies in its flexibility. The designated climbing and trekking leaders enable the trip to proceed despite illness within the group. The Alpine Club of Himalaya accommodates varying group sizes, with a minimum of two and a maximum of twelve individuals. For group bookings exceeding twelve people, interested parties can contact the club to arrange the necessary accommodations.

Trip Information:

Sherpa porters for carrying luggage (2 trekkers: 1 porter) and other helpers as per requirement in the climbing section. This arrangement ensures that should anybody in the group fall sick; the trip can still go ahead as planned. We can run the trip with a minimum of two people, and a maximum of twelve. However, if you would like to make a group booking for more than twelve people, please contact us.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us at Alpine Club of Himalaya. We have the absolute authority to cancel the trip or change the itinerary, when deemed necessary or when we have reason to believe your safety is at stake. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, natural disasters, and such, can contribute to changes in the itinerary when traveling in remote mountainous regions. In these extreme situations, we kindly request that you offer your full co-operation to the trusted leader of the group appointed by Alpine Club of Himalaya. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to keep to the above itinerary.

You will be welcomed by an amazing view of The Himalayas as you approach Kathmandu. At the airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of Alpine Club of Himalaya. In the evening, you will be served excellent authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country’s food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Airfare from Pokhara to Jomsom and Return to Pokhara

  • All Alpine Club of Himalaya's facilities including: Kitchen tent, storage tent, dining tent, client tents, toilet tents, tables, chairs and cooking utensils for base camp.

  • Common climbing equipment such as: Rope, ice bars, ice screws, and snow bar.

  • 3 meals a day: Breakfast, lunch and dinner with tea/coffee.

  • Accommodation at hotel/lodge/guest house or tent camps during the trekking period.

  • All camping accommodation for members and staff during trekking and climbing period. You will be sharing sleeping quarters with one other member.

  • All food and fuel for base camp and higher camps during the climbing period.

  • 40kg baggage allowance per person during the trekking period. This will be carried by porters/mules.

  • Daily weather report services from Seattle, Washington based company.

  • Services of chef and kitchen assistant at advance base camp.

  • Trekking Permit (Annapurna Conservation Park entry fee).

  • TIMS card (Trekking Information Management System).

  • Expedition Royalty and permit from Nepal government to climb Mt. Tukuche peak.

  • Nepalese government Royalty.

  • One experienced, trained, government licensed and 2 time summiteers climbing guide (Sherpa) per person.

  • All wages, equipment, medical and accident insurances for all involved staff during the trekking and climbing period.

  • Helicopter rescue insurance for all involved expedition staff.

  • Medical consultation services at the base camp with the HRA clinic at base camp.

  • Equipment allowances and wages for climbing Sherpa’s, cooks, kitchen assistant and government liaison officer.

  • First aid medical kits for the group and the staff.

  • Satellite phone carried by guide for communication. Available to clients with the cost of $3USD per minute.

  • Appropriate high altitude food for all clients and staff at base camp and above as required.

  • Required fixed and dynamic rope during the climbing period.

  • Heater will be provided at base camp for the dining tent.

  • Emergency oxygen mask and regulator provided upon request of client with requirement appropriate charge.

  • Each client will have an individual tent available in the Tukuche peak advanced base camp.

  • Solar panels for light and electronics charging.

  • All tents for camp I, II and III. Ice fall charges.

  • Gamow Bags (Portable hyperbaric chambers) for high altitude sickness.

  • We provide Sherpa's tents, food for climbing and insurance.

  • EPI cooking gas and stove will be provided above base camp for cooking food.

  • Generator will be providing to back-up the lighting in base camp.
