The 6 days Bhutan Tour is a popular week tour package that most of our clients prefer. The tour takes you to the Kingdom of Bhutan, a landlocked country in the Eastern Himalayas. In a world where traditional cultures are vanishing so quickly, here preserving traditional culture and the environment is considered essential to its people’s well-being. Explore the Mountain Kingdom of Bhutan’s remote villages, modern cities, high mountain passes, scenic valleys, ancient Buddhist, historical sites, and untouched natural wonders, and chat along with local inhabitants learning about their traditions, culture, and lifestyle. The 6 days Bhutan Tour starts from the Land of Thunder Dragons, exploring Paro valley a historical settlement with rich culture and traditions. In Paro, you’ll visit the Dungste Lhakang, a 15th-century temple with the Ugyen Perli Palace visible through its fence, the Rinpung Dzong a fortress monastery, and Kichu Lhakhang the oldest Bhutanese temple. Then the next day you’ll head towards Taktsang monastery also known as the Tiger’s Nest which is the most sacred monastery in Bhutan nestled on a sheer cliff, offering you enchanting views of the Paro valley. The next day head towards Wangditse Gompa followed by a brief tour of Thimphu. Next, you’ll head towards Punakha, crossing a high pass from where you’ll witness Mt. Masanggang the highest peak in Bhutan, and a short hike to Hike to Lungchutse Monastery. After that, you’ll be heading towards the majestic Khamsum Yulley Namgyal one of Bhutan’s finest architectural and artistic traditions and one of a kind in the world. From hearing head towards Paro and catch a flight back.
As you approach Bhutan you'll notice a scenic view of the Himalayan range. Upon arriving at Paro International Airport, you'll be greeted by a representative of the Alpine Club of Himalaya and your Bhutanese guide. After immigration formalities head on a short drive toward Thimpu. Traversing through Paro valley witness views of the silvery Pa Chu also known as Paro River meandering its way through the thickly forested ravine, the Paro Dzong a monastic fortress, and Ta Dzong watchtower. Later in the afternoon, visit Tashicho Dzong a beautiful fortress and monastery which houses the Secretariat building, King’s Throne, and other government offices. It is also the summer residence of the chief abbot or spiritual leader Je-Khenpo. Next, visit the Handicrafts Emporium and witness a wide assortment of beautifully hand-woven and crafted products including the famous traditional thangka paintings. Then, move towards the memorial Chorten which is a beautiful stupa built in memory of Bhutan’s third King. The paintings and statues inside the monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy.
