In this itinerary, you do not have many acclimatizing days, so you may experience headaches, nausea, and lethargy on arrival in Namche Bazaar, 3,420 meters. Group leader

All Alpine Club of Himalaya trips is accompanied by one of the local Sherpa leaders who speaks excellent English. He/she will provide information on the places you are traveling through, deal with health and safety issues and introduce you to the local porters and villagers. As a local leader, he/she has more specific knowledge to explain historical, cultural, religious, and social aspects.

Fellow travelers

When you travel in a group, there are people from around the world of different ages who are multilingual, multicultural, and multiracial. You are requested to understand the benefits and maybe some of the frustrations of traveling in a group.

Location

This tour will take place in Nepal. Nepal is a small, landlocked country, 800 kilometers long and 200 kilometers wide making a total land area of 147,181 square kilometers. The landscape soars from just 150 meters above sea level to 8,848 meters at the top of Mt. Everest. Nepal covers only 0.1% of the world’s surface area but is home to 8% of the world’s species of birds, including 72 critically endangered species.

Nepal’s location between India and Tibet, the diversity of its 60 or more ethnic groups, its isolating geography, and its myriad languages have resulted in a complex pattern of customs and beliefs. The dominant Nepali cultural concepts are those of caste and status, both of which contribute to a strictly defined system of hierarchy.

Caste determines a person’s status and marriage partner. Nepal sweeps you along crooked, ancient streets flanked by dazzling, multi-roofed pagodas, gold-topped stupas, and arcane stone sculptures, and into low-ceilinged rooms cluttered with horror-eyed masks, spinning prayer wheels, Buddhist thangka scrolls, and Tibetan carpets.

Whether it is muttered chants of Buddhist monks in a monastery or early morning worship of Kathmandu’s housewife in local temples, it is believed that the divine is everywhere. In Nepal, Hinduism, and Buddhism is mingled wonderfully into a complex, syncretic blend like nowhere else. Its the best place for Mountain Trekking and Wildlife Tour Nepal.
