Sujan Lamichhane is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of a leading adventure travel company in Nepal. A highly respected figure in Nepal's tourism sector, he is a seasoned tourism professional, educator, and advocate for sustainable adventure travel. He holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Soft Skills and Corporate Training, blending academic depth with hands-on industry leadership to uplift the quality and scope of travel services in the Himalayas.
His field expertise is rooted in personal experience, having successfully completed Nepal’s most iconic treks, including the Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, and Annapurna Base Camp Trek. His firsthand engagement with these high-altitude journeys enables him to design trekking programs that are not only logistically sound but also culturally immersive and deeply fulfilling for international adventurers.
In addition to his operational excellence, he has played an instrumental role in representing Nepal’s tourism industry on global platforms. He has traveled extensively across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, and Asia, actively promoting Nepal’s adventure tourism and fostering cross-cultural connections. His international exposure allows him to understand the diverse needs of global travelers and integrate international service standards into Nepal’s tourism offerings.
Beyond his business endeavors, he is deeply committed to the broader development of Nepal’s tourism community. He served as the Secretary of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) from 2017 to 2019, contributing to the organization’s strategic planning, industry advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives. He also held the prestigious role of Past President of the Lions Club of Nepal Himalaya, where he led numerous community service and social impact projects aimed at uplifting local livelihoods and supporting sustainable development.
Among his many personal achievements, the successful summit of Mera Peak, one of Nepal’s highest trekking peaks, stands out as a testament to his passion for mountaineering and his commitment to pushing the limits of adventure.
Today, Sujan Lamichhane continues to lead with vision, integrity, and a deep-rooted passion for the Himalayas. His work bridges global interest with local authenticity, ensuring that travelers experience Nepal not just as tourists, but as part of a greater journey that honors nature, culture, and human connection.
