Overview

Join Alpine Club of Himalaya’s trekking expedition to the peaks in Langtang Valley, a “fine, open valley, rich in flowers and grass, and flanked by great mountains…”, as described by British mountaineer and explorer HW Bill Tilman. We climb the relatively simple and non-technical Yala Peak (5550m), and from its summit, we are able to see the Shishapangma (8046m) and Gangchempo (6388m) peaks. We also explore the holy Gosainkunda Lake, and trek the remote trails of the Helambu region. The journey offers you spectacular views of snow capped Lantang Lirung, Lenpo Gang, Dorje Lakpa, and the mighty Shishapangma, the closest we can get to The Himalayas from Kathmandu Valley.
