Mount Kailash, 6,638m (21,778ft), located in the far west of Tibet is considered a sacred place in four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Bon and Jainism. In Sanskrit language Kailash means luminous crystal. Hindus believe Mt. Kailash to be the abode of Lord Shiva and a place of eternal bliss. According to legend, the immortal Shiva is enthroned on the top of Kailash and the mountain is regarded as the location of exceptionally powerful transformation. Therefore a Hindu making the pilgrimage to Kailash and having a darshan (divine view) of Shiva’s abode is to attain release from the clutches of ignorance and delusion.
Booking procedure
Send your passport scan copy for your trip booking confirmation. We need your scan passport copy to make ready Tibet Travel permit, Trekking Permit, booking your International flights or issue permit and visa previously.
We take a minimum of 20% advance amount from our clients for confirming the trip
CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify ACH in writing. Once ACH receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
- If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
- If cancellation takes place less than7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
- No refunds are made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip starts and refunds will be at the discretion of ACH if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or any services not used

Important Note :
Your safety is of paramount importance to us at Alpine Club of Himalaya. We have the absolute authority to cancel the trip or change the itinerary, when deemed necessary or when we have reason to believe your safety is at stake. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, natural disasters, and such, can contribute to changes in the itinerary when traveling in remote mountainous regions. In these extreme situations, we kindly request that you offer your full co-operation to the trusted leader of the group appointed by Alpine Club of Himalaya. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to keep to the above itinerary.
